Do you enjoy learning about the past? Do you like hanging out with others who have the same interest? Then join the Hawkeye History Corps! You don't need to be a history major. We'll be planning many different activities, including movies, visiting exhibits and reenactments, as well as organizing meetings with history faculty and history teachers.

The faculty advisor is Rosemary Moore.

In celebration of Black History Month, the Hawkeye History Corps held a public event celebrating Lulu Merle Johnson, PhD, on February 27, 2024.

Dr. Johnson was the first African American woman to earn a PhD in Iowa. Read more about her legacy here
