Office Hours: 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.; 1:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Born and raised in Iowa, I graduated with a BA in History from the University of Iowa in 1998.  

After graduation, I was commissioned as an Officer in the United States Air Force where I spent 9 years as a Human Resources Officer, as well as a Curriculum Developer and Instructor for ROTC and Officer Training School.  During my time in the military, I received a MS in Management from University of Maryland University College.  

After leaving the military, I spent 9 years running call centers for a technology company in Nashville, TN.  I returned to Iowa and the History department in July 2018.  In addition to working in the History department, I am the Head Coach for the Iowa Women's Rugby Club.
