Tom serves as the departmental advisor for all history students who have earned at least 30 semester hours. Here's here to help review your degree audit, map out a plan to graduation, and answer questions about your major or minor in history. He can also help you navigate and connect with campus resources and opportunities to help you make the most of your time at Iowa.

Tom has a PhD in American Studies and has taught courses at Iowa including Food in America, Disney in America, and Understanding American Cultures.  He has worked as an advisor for CLAS and the College of Pharmacy since 2015.
