Hannah Haack of Williamsburg, IA, is one of 17 University of Iowa students and alumni chosen from about 10,000 Fulbright Award applicants nationwide to serve as representatives of the U.S. State Department to teach English abroad and to undertake public health research and creative writing projects in 16 countries during the 2022-23 academic year.
She received a Bachelor of Arts degree in history and a minor in German from Iowa in May 2021.
With her Fulbright English Teaching Assistantship Award to Germany, she will teach English, provide interpretation services, and spend time assisting refugees.
